The snow leopard for Mac OS X fanboys is out this August 28. What sets it apart from the earlier Leopard version is that it has faster apps and takes up less space in the hard drive. It’ll cost $28 dollars at amazon.com

The Soundroid Rampage is an iPhone app developed by Wooji Juice that allows you to make big mecha robot noises. You can startle a friend while you make stomping noises, big clanging footsteps, servo whine, hissing pressure vents and laser whizzes. It’s available at the iTunes store for $0.99.

Peer-to-peer on demand video company Joost launched its iPhone application this Friday allowing iPhone users to take advantage of Joost’s thousands of available on demand videos.

TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington downloaded and tested the application but it gives a connection error. This is a great app for the iPhone, only if it weren’t broken.
