If you’d like to know the exact minute, you’d have to look at the four dots on each of its four corners. With it’s price of $1600, you’re buying more of an artwork than a clock.

Coming this October is Canon G11, a successor to the popular g series of compact prosumer cameras. Instead of amping it up with megapixels, Canon opted scale back to 10mp and arming it with ISO 3200 for greater sensitivity in low-light conditions. Botanists led by Alastair Robinson and Steward McPherson discovered in Palawan, Philippines what has to be the largest carnivorous plant in the world, capable of eating rats and insects. Previously, the plant was only known through accounts in 2000.

The national archives of Great Britain just made public the documents of the “Rendlesham Forest Incident,” the most popular UFO sighting in the country. The sighting was in December 1980 when two RAF servicemen noticed strange lights around near their camp. A glowing triangular object was reported to be seen that filled the entire forest with white light.
